DRISH RONALD Ronald, 73, of New Kensington, passed quietly with his loving wife by his side on Saturday evening, October 31, 2015, at Platinum Ridge Center for Rehabilitation & Healing, Brackenridge. Born June 14, 1942, in Braddock, PA to the late Herbert A. and Erma Soles Drish; beloved husband of Carol (Allhouse) Drish of 41 years; father of Deborah Drish; and stepfather of Gregory M. Guth of Brookville; brother of LaVonne (Joseph) Buttyan of Wilkins Twp., Lois (Samuel) Jones Monroeville, James Drish Washington, PA; grandfather of Adara, Jessie, and Dakota. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Brumbaugh; and brothers, Floyd Drish and his twin brother Donald Drish. Ron served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, was a State Trooper for over 31 years in the Pittsburgh area, and served as a Westmorleand County Sheriff in Greensburg from 1999 to 2009. Ron took great pride in his yard at his home, and enjoyed a good round of golf when he could. Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont Wednesday from 2-8 p.m., when an F.O.P. Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Private Interment will be held in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington, PA.
