RUTH DOROTHY "DOT" (FREUND) THOMAS Age 84, passed on Friday, April 3, 2020, formerly of Knoxville. Beloved wife of the late Daniel W. Thomas; loving mother of Denise (Samuel) Martin, Diana (the late Timothy) Wank, Darnell Butler (Dave Uram), Daniel A. Thomas and Debbie (Frank) Kron; cherished Gram of 12; proud G.G. of 25; great-great-grandmother of two; sister of Suzanne Giglio; preceded in death by three brothers. Dot was the former owner of The 301 Bar in Beltzhoover and former deli clerk of 27 years for Foodland in Carrick. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Due to the current health crisis, there will be no visitation. A memorial celebration of Dot's life will be held at a later date.
