PAUL ROBERT MARKS On Thursday, April 9, 2020, age 71, of Forest Hills. Survived by his children, Elena Marks-Johnson (Sean), Geoffrey Marks, and Alice Sox (Jason), all of whom he lovingly shared with former spouse of 24 years, Mimi (Dougherty Marks) Liss. Proud grandfather of Brendan, Mackenzie, Aydan, Camdan, Ayla, and John. Beloved brother of Jim Marks (Judy) of Wisconsin and Alice Ann Bova (Tom) of Florida. Paul was born in Pittsburgh on September 16, 1948, and raised in Swissvale. He attended Duquesne University, where he earned his law degree and served as editor of the Duquesne Law Review. He went on to become a passionate, well-respected lawyer. While he could fiercely debate on any topic, Paul was most known for his kind, gentle, and compassionate nature. He was always up for a laugh and enjoyed hearing jokes almost as much as he enjoyed telling them. An avid reader, Paul was unmatched in his ability to consume and retain information. He devoured several books a week and, yet, could easily recall any one of them in conversation. Paul loved playing the piano, listening to classical music, traveling the world, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Due to recent circumstances, Paul will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Paul's name to the Greater Pittsburgh. Arrangements by WOLFE MEMORIAL, LLC.
