
ROURA MIGUEL J. Of Cranberry Township, PA, formerly of Parkersburg, WV for 42 years, died peacefully in his sleep on March 1, 2016. Miguel was born on November 7, 1935, in Yauco, Puerto Rico. He was the son of the late Rosa Julia Fraticelli and Miguel Angel Roura. Miguel graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1958 from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He graduated from Cornell University in 1965 with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Miguel joined Dupont at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE in 1965. In 1999, Miguel retired from Dupont in Parkersburg, WV as a Research Fellow. Miguel's hobbies included tennis, and he was an award winning amateur photographer. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Allowsing) Roura; loving father of Karen (Roura) Miller; father-in-law of Todd Miller; grandfather of Lyndsey Miller and Nathan Miller; father of Carlos Roura and daughter-in-law, Elvira Roura; brother of Maritza Roura, Sandra Dobal, Alexis Dobal and Junior Dobal. Miguel's family will welcome friends on Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at the GLENN - KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 130 Wisconsin Avenue at Route 19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2016, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. (Everyone Please Meet at Church).
