Loving mother of John (Kimmy) Piacquadio and Raymond (Beth) Piacquadio; cherished grandmother of Shawna (Ryan) Mendel, Marc Ison, Rianna, Dante, Raymond, and Dario Piacquadio, and Christina, Alyssa, and Zachary Cox; adored great-grandmother of Giuliana, Max, and Traesen; stepmother of Sam (Kevin) Meers, Barbara (Jack) Fassetta, and Robert (Rebecca) Moore; step-grandmother of Alex (Jacob) Stamper, Zachary Meers (Becky), Michael (Kim) Fassetta, Katherine, and Andrew Moore; step-great-grandmother of Eleanor Stamper, Noah, Finn, and Rocco Fassetta. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Vesci and Sally (Sherm) Klass; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by spouse, James Moore; daughter, Donna Lisa Cox; grandson, Richard Piacquadio; and brother, Frank Vesci. Angela loved cooking, listening to Italian music, and playing cards. She enjoyed celebrating all holidays with her family and spending time with her grandchildren. He was born March 30, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA a son of Phyllis Rizzo Haduch and the late Stanley A. Haduch. Mr. Haduch was a Science and Math teacher in the Pittsburgh Public School for over 35 years and was an antique dealer. He loved spending time with his family and friends and his beloved cats and his dog, Mike. He was an avid collector and could not pass up a yard sale. He was known far and wide for his famous pepperoni roles and chocolate chip cookies. Surviving are his wife, Jeannine Gaydos Haduch, of Imperial; sons, Stanley E. (Jennifer) Haduch, of Pittsburgh, and Kenneth A. (Erin) Haduch, of Hamilton Square, New Jersey; grandchildren, Holly and Max Haduch. CARLO E. PIATTI After a long, well-lived life, Carlo E. Piatti, 84, formerly of Monroeville, died peacefully, Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was the loving husband of Joanne (Mastromonaco) Piatti for 57 years; he was the treasured father of Carla (Manny) Jimenez, of Edisto Island, SC, Lisa (Samuel) Garofolo, of Monroeville, and SuAnne (Mark) Norris, of Chester Springs, PA; cherished grandfather of Michael (Kyra) Garofolo, Nicole Garofolo, Carlo Jimenez, and Morgan and Capri Norris; proud great-grandfather of Corrina Garofolo. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence E. Piatti. Carlo served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was also an Air Force Reserve veteran. He worked for US Steel, South Side location, for over 30 years as a computer programmer. Carlo was a member and Past-President of the Sub Alpine Italian Club in Turtle Creek. He was a member of the Plum American Legion Post 980 and Wilkins Elks. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, bocce, traveling, and playing cards. He was an avid sports fan of the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates! He was seldom seen not wearing some sort of Pittsburgh paraphernalia. Carlo loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He was a wonderful, kind man with many stories that always kept people entertained. He never met a stranger, he always had a hello for you, and a hug or handshake for everyone. Carlo was an inspiration to many people given that he lived in chronic pain for decades, yet he never, EVER complained. He was an amazing man that we were blessed to know. Carlo will truly be missed! Judy was always found with a book in her hand, she was the first to laugh and the first to dance. One of her passions was to try new restaurants and travel with her beloved friend Jim. Pickels, IV; loving mother of Mary (Paul) Jasper of Ross Twp., Margaret (Roland) Smith of Troy, VA, the late Elizabeth Pickels and the late infant, Susan Pickels; foster mother and aunt of Linda Silinsky of AL; dear grandmother of Verner Bennett (Heidi) Miller of OH, Mary Christine (Arnold) Geer of CA and Holly (David) Steiner of Gibsonia. Florence was the great-grandmother of nine; sister of Betty Jane (late Bill) Cline of Elizabeth. Preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie Miller, Doris Patterson, Diane Minnie George and her brothers, Rowland and Lloyd George; also survived by nieces and nephews. For many years, Florence was a Judge of Elections in Forest Hills and, perhaps appropriately, she died on Election Day. She was a founder and volunteer of The Flivver program that provides transportation for seniors and disabled in Forest Hills. Florence was a Girl Scout leader in Forest Hills and volunteered with the Girl Scout Board of Allegheny County. Florence had a varied work career and finally retired from the Internal Revenue Service. In retirement, and until she was 100, she volunteered at I.R.S. VITA sites to help folks file tax returns. Beloved wife of the late Rick Pearson; loving mother of Richard (Susan), Chrissy, Carrie (Eric), and Dana (Matt); cherished "Gram" of Alexyss, Conrad, Autumn, Luke, Aryanna, Alex, Lilyana, Jacob, and Juliana; sister of George Santi and the late Cheryl Berry; sister-in-law of John and Charmaine Osak; survived by many nieces and nephews; and her rescue dog, Honey. ALBERT A. "ZOOT" ZOTTOLA Of Allison Park, on Friday, May 24, 2019, age 95. Beloved husband of the late Helen A. Zottola; father of Anthony Zottola (Diane), Linda Boland (Richard), Raymond Zottola (Cynthia), Paul Zottola (Catherine), and Lisa Raines (Elester); grandfather of 14; great-grandfather of 36; brother of the late Caroline Autore, Mary Viccari, Rose Atanasio, Sam Zottola, and Louis Zottola; also survived by nieces and nephews. Al proudly served his country as a Combat Medic during WWII. He was Staff Sergeant at the Battle of the Bulge under General George S. Patton and earned two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star during his three years of combat. He also participated in the liberation of Buchenwald concentration camp and assisted in the medical treatment of those liberated. Upon discharge, he worked for Conrail for 42 years, retiring as General Foreman at Conway Yards. Friends received at MCCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside, on Tuesday, from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., where the funeral will commence on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors to follow at Mt.
