RICHARDS LOUISE (GERST) Age 99 and 1/2 years young, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully at Marian Manor on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Devoted mother of the late Bobbi Getz; loving grandmother of Grant Getz (Elena); proud great-grandmother of Olivia Getz; beloved sister of Dagmar Gerst and the late Joseph Gerst (the late Loretta); dear aunt of Jody Gerst (Mimi) and Loretta Gerst; great-aunt of Aimee Gerst and Patty Mulcahy (Kevin); great- great-aunt of Maddie and Carter Mulcahy. Louise worked as a spotter for Civil Defense in Syracuse, NY from 1963-1964. She worked as a floral designer, first for Mt. Lebanon Florist and then at Barry's Flower Castle until her retirement in 1989. From 1990 until 2012 she worked as a greeter at Laughlin Funeral Home. Louise was an active member at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church. She belonged to many knitting and needlepoint groups. SULLIVAN ANNIE Went peacefully to be with Her Savior Jesus the Christ on April 26, 2018. Annie, raised in Nazi Germany, was born in Neufahrn, Freising, Germany on June 23, 1927, one of five to the late Alois and Anna (Elfinger) Obster. On November 11, 2001, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Sullivan. Annie is survived by nieces and nephews all from Germany: Christine Hammrich of Munich, Martin Obster of Freising, Ludwig Sadenbacher of Mittenstetten, Reuate Shubert of Aichach and Alexander Obster of Austria. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Martin, Kath Sachenbacher, Walli Dichte and Alfred Obster. TANZOLA ROBERT PETER Age 65, of Irwin, on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in the Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born August 24, 1952, in Philadelphia, a son of Patricia Paris (Cavounis) Berenato and the late Robert Charles Tanzola. He was employed in hospitality for years, self-employed and then worked for the Ritz Carlton, KOA and many others throughout his career. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, in Irwin. Bobby was a loving, caring and protective husband to his wife, Kathleen (Rylander) Sarniak-Tanzola; father to Robert and Tanner Tanzola both of Medford, NJ; stepson, Theodore Sarniah, of Greensburg; a grandson, Theodore Sarniah V.; brother, Craig (Kathleen) Tanzola, of NJ; sister, Ellen (David) Johnson, of VA; and several nieces and nephews. Bobby enjoyed life to the fullest and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was an avid cook, sharing his incredible recipes with all.
