GOEDERT HAROLD J., Jr. Age 85, of Dormont, on Monday, May 28, 2018. Son of the late Harold and Dorothy Goedert, Sr.; loving husband to the love of his life, Joan (Meier) Goedert for 63 years; father of Sharon Oelschlager (John), Mary Beth Greenstone (Tom), Suzanne Sinclair (Jeffrey), Charles (Kim), Matthew (Beth), Michael (Sandy), Stephen and the late Joseph (Karie); 15 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; brother of Gary Goedert and the late Ronald Goedert. Harry served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a diehard Pittsburgh sports fan, an avid reader and historian of the Civil War. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER'S. LUPINACCI JOSEPH A. Age 83, of Titusville, passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2018, at his residence. Joe was born on August 25, 1934, at Sewickley, PA, a son of the late Genarro and Rose Brancato Lupinacci. He was married to Caryl A. LeJeune for the past 48 years. They were married at St. Alphonsus Church in Clintonville. Joe was a graduate of Sewickley High School and had attended Clarion University. He was a veteran having served in the US Army. He entered the Service on November 9, 1954, and was honorably discharged on October 12, 1956. Joe was a part of a long family tradition of being a chef. He was an executive chef having worked at many restaurants including the World's Fair; Firestone Country Club; was food and beverage manager for all of the Ohio State Parks and lodges within the parks; employed at the prestigious William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh; the Pittsburgh Convention Center; and was head chef for 18 years with his wife at Cross Creek Resort in Titusville until his retirement in 1999. Joe was an athlete having played football at Sewickley High School and at Clarion University. He also played football while enlisted in the US Army. He also enjoyed boxing in his earlier years. Joe was a member of St. Titus Church; the Knights of Columbus; and of the Titusville Moose Club #84. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and being outdoors. Joe was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. Joe is survived by his wife, Caryl of Titusville; two sons, Joseph Lupinacci of Titusville and Harry Lupinacci and wife, Denise of Ambridge; five grandchildren, Matthew Olson, Daniella Robichaud, Nicholas, Giovonni, and Lauren Mae Lupinacci; three great- grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah, and Gianni Olson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the last of his immediate family preceded in death by brothers, Sam "Big Apple", Vince, Romeo, Harry, and Jim Lupinacci; and four sisters, Annie Lupinacci, Rose Salerto, Georgina Smith, and Babe Kutcher. Friends may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018, at St. Titus Church, 513 W. Main St., Titusville, PA with Fr. Walter E. Packard as celebrant. McCREA LINDA D. Age 65 of Saxonburg, passed away on May 26, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Hospice. Born August 6, 1952, in Natrona Heights, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hugh O'Donnell and Clarice O'Donnell. Linda graduated from Deer Lakes High School. She retired after over 30 years of service from Associated Ceramics and Technology. Linda McCrea, our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, always put her family first. She was always willing to do anything that needed to be done for those she loved. She faced all of life's challenges with remarkable intelligence, wit, bravery, and grace. She will be dearly missed by her family. JOHN KATHRYN “BURTE” On Sunday, May 27, 2018, Kathryn "BURTE" John, age 90, of Pittsburgh, fell asleep in the Lord with her loving daughter, Kweilin Nassar, by her side in the UPMC Canterbury Family Hospice and Palliative Care. Born October 16, 1927, in Masontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Aneecie John of Brownsville, PA, and was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Ruth Altman; and brothers, Ralph "Bucky" John (Evelyn) of Pittsburgh, George John (Catherine) of Emaus, PA, and David John (Kathryn) of Brownsville, PA. She is survived by her daughter and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. Burte was a devoted member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral in Oakland. She worked for 40 years at the Pennsylvania/ Conrail Railroad before retiring and starting a second 14-year career in the events department at WQED. She enjoyed her ethnic roots from Syria, the music and especially the dancing. Her magnetic personality drew people to her and she embraced children lovingly and adults with her special insight on advice. Friends are welcome on Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 3400 Dawson Street, (Oakland) Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Beloved husband to Joanne (Smith) Vogel; loving father of David Vogel and Jennifer( William) Neuberger; dear grandpa of Madelyn, age 8, and Anna, age 7; proud brother of Kathleen (Dennis) Reitlinger, Jean M.
