WATKINS HENRY A. Age 95, of Penn Twp., formerly of Wilkins Twp., passed away on January 31, 2019. Beloved husband of Cecelia (Koshara) Watkins; loving father of Diane (LuAnne Tanger) East, Henrietta W. (Bill) Lang, and Jean (Gino) Rizzi; proud grandfather of Terri (Jeff) Day, Christine McCarthy, Joe (Jenn) Lang, Gino (Myriam) Rizzi, and Nicole (Casey) Holder?eld; also survived b y ten great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Watkins; and sisters, Katherine Bowser and Evelyn Kolich. Henry honorably served in the US Navy and later went on to work for USS Edgar Thompson as an electrician. JONES TIMOTHY M., Sr. Age 58, of McKees Rocks, peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 2019, with his loving family by his side, after a year long battle with cancer. SNYDER MARY JANE (LAWLESS) Age 87, of Bethel Park on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Mary Jane was born on December 31, 1931, to the late John J. Lawless and Anna (Long) Lawless. She graduated from St. Rosalia High School in Green?eld. While working at E. L. Weigand Company, she met her husband John W. Snyder. They married on May 2, 1959 at Holy Rosary Church. Mary Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, John W.; she is the loving mother of Mary Ann (Jim) Fort and John J. (Julie) Snyder; and proud grandmother of Maria, Victoria, Alex and Stephanie Fort and John M. and Hannah Rose Snyder. She gave her time to causes close to her heart and was an active member of St. Germaine Rosary Group and the Ladies of Charity. She volunteered at Jefferson Hospital for 17 years. SCHNEIDER EDWARD W. Three things were important to Edward W. Schneider - his family, his church and the family business. He passed away on January 31, 2019, at age 90 surrounded by his family. Ed worked for most of his life at the family's business, Schneider's Dairy, retiring as Vice President of Sales. He served his country in the Korean War, participating in the Battle of Pork Chop Hill, and was honorably discharged as a Corporal in the Infantry of the United States Army. The war made a lasting impression on him and deepened his faith. He was an active member of St. Gabriel's of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, lifetime member of the VFW and member of VFW Post 1810. He enjoyed bowling and golf, watching Pittsburgh sports, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances; his children, Ann (Phil) Smith, Edward (Diane) Schneider, Jr., Jane Callahan, Nancy (Jeff) Hunt, David (Bonnie) Schneider and Laura Saffer; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Catherine (Jack) Murphy; brother, Kenneth Schneider; and sisters-in-law, Valeta Schneider and Catherine Schneider. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward C. and Catherine Schneider; brothers, William Schneider and Paul Schneider; sister-in-law, Earleen Schneider; and son-in-law, Kenneth Saffer. JACKOVITZ JOHN "JACK" F. Of Monroeville, passed away surrounded by family members at Forbes Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Beloved husband of Maryanne (Jankowski) of 54-plus years; loving father of Jan (JJ) Ferrara of Decatur, GA, Julie (Jeff) Moore of Evans City, PA, and Joyce (Duke Christian) George of Los Angeles; cherished grandfather of Genevieve, Meredith, and Duke Jackson IV; brother of Robert (Jen) Jackovitz of Greensburg, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins that loved him. Jack was born on November 9, 1939 in Adamsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Violet K. Jackovitz; his sister, JoAnne Jactkovitz. Jack had a vast education, including completing his PhD at the University of Notre Dame. It was there that he asked Maryanne to dance. From then on, their love grew and they were married on September 12, 1964 at Notre Dame Cathedral. Anyone that knew Jack, immediately recognized he was one of a kind. He had numerous interests including ?xing anything he could think of, boating, Notre Dame and Pittsburgh Steelers football. He was a member of many scienti?c societies including, Pittcon, SSP, and SACP. He owned 36 patents while working at Westinghouse R & D Center in Churchill. DiDONATO JOSEPH, Jr. Age 91, of Ross Township, loving husband, father, and grandfather, died January 29, 2019. “Joe” DiDonato grew up on the north side of Pittsburgh, the son of Joseph and Marie DiDonato. He graduated from Oliver High School in 1947 and then served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Constance Cuda, on September 7, 1957, and went on to raise four children in Pittsburgh, PA. After serving our country, Joe enjoyed a 38-year career with the United States Postal Service, primarily serving the Bellevue Branch neighborhoods. As a son of Italian immigrants, Joe was a generous, hardworking man who always put the needs of others before his own. His humble, engaging personality allowed him to get along with anyone. Joe had a spark that could ignite the life into any party. In addition to enjoying every minute with his children and grandchildren, Joe was a Pittsburgh sports enthusiast – always rooting for the black and gold. He also relished family vacations, annual ?shing trips to Canada, and weekly golf rounds with his closest friends. His wife, Constance, preceded him in death, as did his brother, Oresto DiDonato. Joe is survived by his four children, Paul DiDonato, John DiDonato (Marianne), Margaret Reagan (Peter), Jean Schooley (Tim); and eight loved grandchildren who will always have a fond place in their hearts for their “Gramps” – Matthew, Alyssa, John Michael, Mary Grace, Connie, Mary Claire, Danny, and Colleen; he is also survived by his brother, Donald DiDonato. Joe lived a wonderful 91 years and left this world in comfort and peace. He is now rewarded by rejoining his loving wife, after missing her for the last 28 years. EULER JUNE MAGRINI Age 92, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard, to whom she was married for 67 years. June was the loving mother of Victoria Y. Huffman (Richard) and Michael H. Euler (Jean); she was also the devoted and doting grandmother of Melissa Mlecko (Peter), Erin Snyder (David), Evan Euler, and Jake Euler; and great grandmother of Sophia Mlecko, Eli Snyder, Gabby Snyder, Grace Mlecko, and William Mlecko; in addition to her husband, June was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Magrini; brothers, Victor Mackey and Elliott Bianchi; and sisters, Modest McQuaide and Audrey Huwe; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. June graduated from Millvale High School in 1944 and married Howard on June 4, 1947. She was a medical secretary and worked at the Richland Medical Center, Passavant Hospital, and in several physician's of?ces in the Pittsburgh area. With her family, June enjoyed baking, candy making, gardening, bowling, camping, boating, and watching sports. She was a lifelong Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers fan. June never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion, and she loved the holidays. Her outdoor holiday displays were a delight for the entire neighborhood. June also spent countless hours attending dance recitals and performances, baseball and football games, and other family celebrations for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family was always a top priority. Howard once described June as the bravest and strongest person he ever knew. She was faced with many challenges in her life but met each one with incredible courage and great determination. She met every day with a positive and upbeat attitude and was loved by many who treasured her kindness, compassion, and generosity. She will be missed by all those that she loved so dearly and those who loved and cherished her. He was a member of many scienti?c societies including, Pittcon, SSP, and SACP. He owned 36 patents while working at Westinghouse R & D Center in Churchill. Belief in God, love of family, and a strong work ethic were the foundations of his life. OBER WILLIAM FRANK Age 86, of Baldwin (formerly of Beltzhoover), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 1, 2019. Beloved husband of 65 years to Dolores Alexandra (Byra) Ober; cherished father of William (Anne) Ober, Cynthia (Randy) Shope, Michelle (Mike) Knauff, and Melissa (Frank) Fera; adored Pap Pap of Adam, Stephanie, Jared, WIlliam, Kristin, Brent, Kyle, Jacqueline, Steven, Matthew, and Jesse; Great-Pap Pap of Norah; loving brother of Frederick (Rosemary) Ober; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Wiliam was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rose (Masdea) Ober. William is a veteran who proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, was a Supervisor of train operations for the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), Penn Central and Conrail railroad companies. After retiring from the railroad, William worked ?ve years with US Steel. He worked part-time for three years at Bull Dog Of?ce Products and was known as "Wild Bill" and "Mr. Bill". Above all, William was a family man who loved golf, gardening, his pet dog, and cherished his family. He will be forever treasured in our hearts.   Family and friends are welcomed on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh. CVETIC JOHN J. "JACK" Of Beechview, age 86, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.
